Labwise Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 6, 2026
Labwise is a mobile app that reads laboratory reports you choose to add and explains the tests on them. This policy describes what the app does with information, in plain terms.
Data stays on your device
Everything you add to Labwise — PDF files, photos, the values read from them, the notes you edit — is stored only in the app's private storage on your phone and protected by your device's encryption. Labwise has no user accounts and operates no servers that receive, store or process your health information.
What we do not collect
We do not collect, transmit, sell or share your health information, your name, your date of birth, your lab's name, or the content of your reports. The app does not use advertising or tracking SDKs.
Optional anonymous usage analytics
Some builds send anonymous usage events (for example "a report was imported", with a page count) to a privacy-focused analytics provider (TelemetryDeck). These events never contain test names, values, dates or any text from a report. They are associated with a random identifier generated on your device, not with you. If a build does not include an analytics key, nothing is sent at all.
Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple shares only anonymous purchase status with our subscription provider (RevenueCat) so the app can unlock features. We never see your payment details.
Camera and files
The camera is used only when you choose to scan a printed report. Files you pick or share into Labwise are copied into the app's storage so they can be read again; they are deleted when you delete the report or all data.
Sharing
When you share a result card, you choose the destination. The card contains the test name, value, reference range and month/year — no name, exact date or lab identifiers.
Deleting your data
Settings → Delete all data removes the database and every stored file immediately. Uninstalling the app does the same.
Children
Labwise is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at the same address with a new date.
